El Wakil joined Ibrachy & Dermarkar in 1987 working his way up to become partner in 2002.
He graduated from Law School, Ain Shams University with a Bachelor of Law in 1982 followed by obtaining a Diploma in Criminal Law. El Wakil started his professional work career in 1982 holding key positions in a couple of Egypt's law offices.
El Wakil is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
